Clara E's Story
Hey Classmates...lovin' livin' my life. I still own a self-defense & fitness studio (solopreneur) in Santa Cruz, and my focus was switched over to women only! Love it.. Using my traditional martial arts experience to create new experiences for women.
All my classes are at The Tannery, an artists complex, with live-in residents, artist residents, and dance classes, plus my fitness classes/self-defense. It's a great collaboration. In March 2020, all classes went to Virtual. In March 2021 we started limited live classes. Now we are fully open.
Enjoying the Santa Cruz community and have no plans to move. I live in a beautiful paradise. We have mountains and oceans right here, even within a mile away from each other. I know lots of you remember Santa Cruz from our ...Expand for more
high school days. There is lots of culture, art, music, innovation, the university, outdoor concerts and events (Blues Fest, CA Beer Fest, Earth Day Celebration, Wharf to Wharf Race (of which I have run for the past four years), lots of other "Run/Walks," (no more Begonia Parade & Festival, as the begonia growers retired), the Biggest Halloween Festival ever on Pacific Avenue, Holiday Parade, LGBT Pride Parade, Redwood Mountain Faire, Sol Festival, great Wineries and Breweries, fabulous restaurants, and our Beach/Boardwalk! If you take a jaunt to Santa Cruz, let me know. Would love to meet up for lunch. And I'll tell ya all about my Spartan Sprint Races!
